Failed lamps are recorded. A house is not given this… Emergency lighting in Coulsdon is a test of the fittings and exit signs already in the one workplace booked. A failed lamp is written down. A house is not given this certificate. ## What a Coulsdon emergency lighting test covers The check of each existing fitting and exit sign, the mains fail test, and the certificate are this price. Replacement fittings are not included. - Emergency lighting testing: from £150 - A larger premises is more fittings, named before the test. - Fire alarm testing is a different booking. - A failed lamp is recorded, not replaced, on this visit. ## Emergency lighting test & certificate across Coulsdon We serve Coulsdon from our base in Banstead. - Brighton Road - Chipstead Valley Road - Marlpit Lane - Old Coulsdon - Bradmore Green - Coulsdon Woods - Cane Hill Park - Netherne-on-the-Hill ## What happens on the day Each emergency light and exit sign in the workplace named is checked, including what it does once the normal supply is dropped. The results go on a certificate. If a fitting does not come on, the certificate says so and names the next step, and the lamp is not changed on this visit. We do not design a new system here, and we do not test a fire alarm. A house at Cane Hill Park is the wrong booking for this certificate. ### Test the fittings already there Every emergency light and exit sign on that premises is checked. Fittings in a different unit are not pulled in because they share a corridor. ### See what happens when the mains drops We drop the normal supply and watch which fittings light from their batteries. One that stays out is marked out. We do not tap it until it flickers and then call that a pass. ### Record the failure and stop A failed fitting is on the certificate, with what it needs next. Supplying and fitting a replacement, or designing a new system, is not this visit. ## Questions about emergency lighting tests in Coulsdon ### Will you replace a lamp that fails?
