A rented flat is checked first, because many have no tank. Immersion repairs in Horley deal with the electrical side of a heater already installed in that home. A rented flat is looked at first, because many have no tank at all. ## What a Horley immersion repair covers You pay for the electrical repair of an immersion already installed. A new tank sits outside it. A rented flat with no heater is not charged. - Immersion heater repair: from £80 an hour; from £80 an hour - A replacement cylinder stays with the plumber. - Changing the board along Limes Avenue is not included. - The landlord report is not this visit. ## Immersion heater repair across Horley We serve Horley from our base in Banstead. - Victoria Road - Massetts Road - Church Road - Horley Row - Meath Green Lane - Langshott - Westvale Park - Balcombe Road ## What happens on the day We repair the electrical side of an immersion that is already installed: the feed, the thermostat, or the element when that is the failed part. Rented flats across RH6 are opened only after we have seen a heater. A station terrace is touched only when the heater is in that house. Off Massetts Road we do not pin the fault on a recent board before the wall wiring has been looked at. Replacing the cylinder is the plumber's job. A board along Limes Avenue stays put. ### Repair the heater that is there The failed electrical part of the heater already installed is the job. A home that has no immersion is not offered a repair for a heater it lacks. ### Look before pricing a flat Flats on a certificate cycle across RH6 are seen before a price. No tank means no immersion job, and the landlord report is not this repair. ### Trace the feed Off Massetts Road the heater is followed back to the circuit that feeds it. A recent board is not blamed while the wall wiring is the older part. ## Questions about immersion heaters in Horley ### Do rented flats across RH6 all have a tank? No. We look before we price. A flat with no immersion is not given a repair for a heater it does not have. ### Is a recent board off Massetts Road the fault? Not until the circuit is tested. Older wall wiring can be the real issue, and the face of the board is not the diagnosis. ### Will you replace the cylinder? No. A new cylinder belongs with the plumber. We repair the electrical side of the heater that is already installed. ### Is a station terrace repaired if it has no heater? No. The terrace is repaired only when the immersion is in that house. We do not assume every station terrace has one. ### Does the repair include a new board along Limes Avenue? No. An interwar semi there does not get a consumer unit change merely because the immersion failed. The board stays. ## Other services in Horley - [Electrician in Horley](https://www.tmbelectrics.co.uk/electrician-horley): Electrician in Horley, Surrey (RH6).
