In a railway era terrace that swap does not become a rewire. · Call 07460 070551 Changing a light or a dimmer in Horley is that one fitting. In a railway era terrace it does not turn into a rewire of the circuits that have remained. ## What a Horley light change covers You pay for the booked fittings and a check of the switch that works them. A dimmer near the station does not include a rewire of the terrace. - Lighting installation: from £50 - A fitting requested after we arrive is priced before it is connected. - The landlord report is not included. - Other fittings in the same room stay as they are. ## Light fitting and switch replacement across Horley We serve Horley from our base in Banstead. - Victoria Road - Massetts Road - Church Road - Horley Row - Meath Green Lane - Langshott - Westvale Park - Balcombe Road ## What happens on the day We swap the fitting that was booked and prove the switch that works it. In a railway era terrace near the station, usually extended, that dimmer does not renew the circuits which have stayed in place. An interwar semi along Limes Avenue gets the one fitting and not a new board. Off Massetts Road a swapped switch is not an excuse to change the board. In a rented flat the fitting is not the certificate cycle report. ### Swap the booked fitting The light or the dimmer that was booked is the one we change. Every other fitting in that room stays where it is. ### Leave terrace circuits alone Circuits that have remained through a station extension are not renewed so a dimmer can go up. The dimmer is the whole of the change. ### Price a late request first A fitting pointed out only after we arrive waits until it is priced. The ladder being up is not a reason to add it. ## Questions about light fittings in Horley ### Is a dimmer in a station terrace a rewire? No. Those terraces are often extended, and the circuits that have remained are left alone. The dimmer is only the dimmer. ### Does a semi along Limes Avenue get a new board? Not for one fitting. Interwar semis there are not given a consumer unit change because a switch was swapped. ### What if someone points at another fitting after we arrive? It is priced before it is connected. Until then the original fitting stays where it was. We do not fit the new one on the spot. ### Is the switch checked? Yes. The switch that works the new fitting is proved before that light is left in place for the household. ### Does a rented flat get its report with the light? No. Changing a fitting does not produce the report a privately rented home across RH6 still needs on its certificate cycle. ## Other services in Horley - [Electrician in Horley](https://www.tmbelectrics.co.uk/electrician-horley): Electrician in Horley, Surrey (RH6).
