It does not stand in for the report a rented home on a certificate cycle still needs. PAT testing in Horley is the portable items in the premises named. A rented home on a certificate cycle still needs its own report, and this list is not that report. ## What Horley PAT testing covers Portable items listed for one premises, tested and labelled, are the whole of this price. The landlord report and the fixed wiring are outside it. - PAT testing: from £120; £120 for up to 20 appliances, then £1.50 per additional appliance. - An item that fails is labelled and taken out of use. - A second premises is a second list. - Fixed wiring off Massetts Road is not opened for this test. ## PAT testing across Horley We serve Horley from our base in Banstead. - Victoria Road - Massetts Road - Church Road - Horley Row - Meath Green Lane - Langshott - Westvale Park - Balcombe Road ## What happens on the day We test and label the portable appliances booked for a single premises. A rented house or flat across RH6 can sit on a regular landlord certificate cycle, and a valid report is still required on that cycle. Passing a kettle does not renew it. Fixed circuits in a railway era terrace, including ones that have remained through an extension, stay shut. Off Massetts Road the age of the wall wiring belongs to an inspection, not to this portable list. ### Label the listed items Each portable item named for this premises is tested and labelled. An item that fails is marked and taken out of use. ### Leave the landlord report as it is A privately rented home across RH6 still needs a valid report on its certificate cycle. A passed toaster does not renew that report. ### Leave the fixed circuits closed Circuits that have remained in a station terrace stay shut while a kettle is labelled. Judging that wiring needs its own visit. ## Questions about PAT testing in Horley ### Does a passed kettle renew a landlord certificate? No. Rented homes across RH6 still need a valid report on their certificate cycle. The portable list does not renew that report. ### Do you open circuits in a station terrace? Not for portable items. Circuits that have remained through an extension stay shut. Judging that fixed wiring needs a visit of its own. ### What happens to an item that fails? It is labelled and taken out of use. We do not put it back into service so the list looks complete. It stays out. ### Is the wall wiring off Massetts Road part of this? No. A recent board with older wiring behind the walls is a fixed wiring question. Portable labels do not answer it. ### Can Langshott and Westvale Park share one list? Only when both premises were named. Each premises has its own items and its own labels. The two lists are not merged. ## Other services in Horley - [Electrician in Horley](https://www.tmbelectrics.co.uk/electrician-horley): Electrician in Horley, Surrey (RH6).
