In an extended station terrace that is often the newer part, and it is not a rewire. New sockets in Horley are the extra outlets a booked room was short of. In an extended station terrace that is often the newer part, and the old circuits stay. ## How new Horley sockets are charged You pay for the outlets that were booked, in the rooms that were booked. An extended station terrace is not rewired inside that price. - Socket installation: from £80 - A socket asked for after we arrive is priced before it is fitted. - Wall wiring off Massetts Road that cannot cope stops the new face. - A consumer unit upgrade in Langshott is its own booking. ## Socket and switch installation across Horley We serve Horley from our base in Banstead. - Victoria Road - Massetts Road - Church Road - Horley Row - Meath Green Lane - Langshott - Westvale Park - Balcombe Road ## What happens on the day Extra outlets go into the rooms that were booked, on a circuit we have proved for them. Railway era terraces near the station have usually been extended, and people usually want those outlets in the newer part rather than a renewal of every circuit that has remained. Interwar semis along Limes Avenue and the Haroldslea roads get only the points that were booked. Off Massetts Road a new face waits when the wall wiring cannot carry it, however recent the board looks. ### Add the booked outlets The faces that were booked are the ones fitted. In an extended station terrace that may mean the newer rooms. Older circuits are not stripped out. ### Stop at the booked semi An interwar semi along Limes Avenue gets the outlets that were booked. The Haroldslea roads are not rewired because two faces were added. ### Wait on weak wall wiring Off Massetts Road the new face waits when the wall wiring behind a recent board cannot take it. The board face is not the test. ## Questions about new sockets in Horley ### Why do extended station terraces ask for sockets? The newer part of the house is often where the extra outlets are wanted. Adding them does not replace the circuits that have remained. ### Is a semi along Limes Avenue the same job as a station terrace? No. Interwar semis along Limes Avenue and the Haroldslea roads get the points that were booked, not a plan copied from a terrace. ### What if the wall wiring off Massetts Road cannot take another socket? That socket waits. A recent board does not make the older wall wiring able to carry another face. The face stays off. ### Will you add a socket in a room that is only mentioned? Not until it is priced. The rooms that were booked are the ones that get faces, and a mention is not a booking. ### Is a rented home's report included? No. New sockets are not the report a privately rented home across RH6 needs on its certificate cycle. ## Other services in Horley - [Electrician in Horley](https://www.tmbelectrics.co.uk/electrician-horley): Electrician in Horley, Surrey (RH6).
