It is not a rewire of a Costain house. · 5.0 Star from 39 reviews Minor works in Kingswood certify one new circuit. On Woodland Way and off Copthill Lane that circuit is often the extra one the house wants. ## What Kingswood minor works covers The certificate is one new circuit and the tests on it. On Woodland Way or off Copthill Lane that is often the extra circuit the house wants. Original wiring in a Costain house stays off the form. The rented home inspection is other paperwork. - Minor works certificate: from £80 - We install the new circuit on the day only when the note already says that is the task. - The rented home inspection stays its own paperwork. - Two new circuits mean two lines, and that is settled before the day. ## Minor works certification across Kingswood We serve Kingswood from our base in Banstead. - Waterhouse Lane - Warren Drive - The Warren - Furze Hill - Woodland Way - Copthill Lane - Kingswood station - Lower Kingswood ## What happens on the day The form is limited to a single circuit, the board it leaves, and the points hanging on it. Newer houses on Woodland Way and off Copthill Lane often need that extra circuit, and the form is about the addition rather than the whole house. A Costain house keeps its original wiring and its other additions off the form unless they are part of this same circuit. A garage unit is named only when the new circuit starts there. ### Describe the one circuit One line on the form: the new circuit, the board it leaves, and the points on it. Other original wiring in a Costain house stays off that line. ### Test the circuit being added We take the readings on the circuit just added. A socket that already works in another room is not a substitute for them. ### Keep the rented report separate A rented home's inspection, including a report still in date, keeps a record of its own. That record is not copied onto this form. ## Questions about Kingswood minor works ### Does one certificate cover a whole Costain house? No. The form covers only the circuit just added. Original wiring and the other additions stay off it unless they belong to that same circuit. ### Is a Woodland Way extra circuit this certificate? When it is one new circuit, yes. Those newer houses generally want extra circuits rather than a rewire. Replacing one accessory like for like stays a straight swap, not a circuit we have added. ### What if the circuit starts at the garage unit? The form names that unit. A board in the garage, annexe or outbuilding is recorded when the circuit starts there, and not otherwise. ### Is this the rented home certificate? No. Rented homes have their own inspection. A report already in date can stand for that. This form is one addition. ### Can two new circuits share one line? No. Two new circuits mean two lines, settled before the day. Copthill Lane lists of several new circuits are not squeezed onto one line. ## Other services in Kingswood - [Electrician in Kingswood](https://www.tmbelectrics.co.uk/electrician-kingswood): Electrician in Kingswood, Surrey (KT20).
