It is not a mains socket. A router is not brought, a dish is not fitted, and the visit is not a full recable or a new cupboard. In a terrace on Doods Road the original circuits were extended many times, and this single faceplate is not the start of replacing them. On a conservation street a cable that will show outside is described against the council map for that address before it is fixed. ### Cable one faceplate back The faceplate on the booking runs back to the broadband cupboard already in that house. A second point is not pulled in because the floor is already up. ### Leave mains and routers out This is not a mains socket, and a router is not brought. The household's own broadband kit stays where it is. ### Do not recable a Doods terrace A terrace on Doods Road is not given a new cupboard or a full recable because one faceplate was booked. The original circuits stay a different question. ## Questions about data points in Reigate ### Where does the cable finish? At the broadband cupboard already in that house. A new cupboard is not built, and the cable is not left loose at the router. ### Is this a mains socket as well? No. The faceplate is for data. A mains socket beside it is a different booking and is not cut in by assumption. ### Will you bring a router or a dish? No. The household keeps the broadband kit already there. A dish is not fitted, and a router is not swapped as part of one faceplate. ### Can a Doods Road terrace be recabled? Not on this visit. Those terraces were extended many times on their original circuits. One faceplate does not become a full recable. ### Does a conservation street affect an indoor point? The point inside does not wait on the council map. A cable that will show outside is described against the map for that address before it is fixed. ## Other services in Reigate - [Electrician in Reigate](https://www.tmbelectrics.co.uk/electrician-reigate): Reigate electrician for rewiring, faults, reports and upgrades, with routes, access and the electrical scope agreed first. - [Data and network point installation (all areas)](https://www.tmbelectrics.co.uk/services/data-networking-point-installation): Data and network point installation from TMB Electrics starts at £120.
