## What happens on the day

The hours cover the small building job written down. An electrical test, any certificate, and making a circuit safe are not this visit, and neither is a board change. Plastering, decorating and joinery are stated apart from any electrical work nearby. At Rushetts Farm, where a house was bought and extended in pieces, only the piece of building work named is done. A second repair noticed in another room is not absorbed because the hours are already underway.

### Do the job that was written down

The hours are spent on the small building task on the booking. A further repair spotted in another room is noted and left, rather than started because the tools are out.

### Keep testing and certificates out

Inspection, a certificate and a make safe call are each their own visit. They are not started because a handyman booking is already in the house.

### Work the Rushetts piece named

A house at Rushetts Farm was bought and extended in pieces. Only the piece named is done, and plastering or decorating beside it is stated apart.

## Questions about handyman work in Reigate

### What do the hours cover?

The small building job written on the booking, for the hours on site. A task that was never listed is not started because there is time left.

### Can the visit include an electrical test?

No. An electrical test, a certificate, or making a circuit safe, each sit on their own booking. These hours are the building job.

### Will a Priory board be changed?

No. A board change in a 1930s Reigate Priory house is electrical work on its own booking. These hours do not open that board.

### Are plastering and decorating included?

They are stated apart. Joinery, plaster and decorating next to the task are not absorbed into the hours unless that work was the job named.

### Does Rushetts Farm mean the whole extension?

No. Those houses were bought and extended in pieces. Only the piece written down is done, and the rest of the extension waits.
