Each appliance is tested, labelled and entered on a register. TMB Electrics, based in Banstead, PAT tests portable appliances in Tadworth, from Tadworth station to The Avenue. Each item is looked at, tested, labelled and written on a register. ## Tadworth PAT price The Tadworth PAT price follows how many appliances are gathered at Tadworth station, on The Avenue or on Walton Street. Looking, testing, the label and the register are included. Mending a failed item, and a condition report on the fixed wiring, are not. - PAT testing: from £120; £120 for up to 20 appliances, then £1.50 per additional appliance. - Each gathered appliance is inspected, tested, labelled and written on the register. - A failed item is labelled and left unrepaired in this price. - Fixed wiring in Walton on the Hill is a different inspection, not PAT. ## PAT testing across Tadworth We serve Tadworth from our base in Banstead. - The Avenue - Shelvers Way - Merland Rise - Preston Lane - Dorking Road - Walton on the Hill - Walton Street - Tadworth station ## What happens on the day Portable items at Tadworth station, on The Avenue or on Walton Street are the whole list. Plugs, leads and casings are examined, the tests that class of appliance needs are run, and a pass or fail label is stuck on. A register records every result for you to keep. The fixed wiring of a listed cottage in Walton on the Hill is a different inspection. A failed appliance is labelled and left closed. ### One gathering point Plugs, leads and portable items are brought together, whether that is The Avenue or a premises by Tadworth station. The fuse board and the cottage wiring stay off this list. ### Examine, then test The plug, the lead and the casing are examined, then the tests that class needs are run. Walton Street items get a pass or fail label. A failed item stays closed. ### Register you keep Every appliance and its result goes on the register you keep. That register is the record of this visit. It is not a condition report on the house wiring in Walton on the Hill. ## Tadworth PAT questions ### What does PAT cover at Tadworth station? Plugs, leads and portable casings. Each gathered item is looked at, tested, labelled and written on a register. The fuse board is not part of that list. ### Does this replace a condition report? No. Fixed wiring, including in a Walton on the Hill cottage, is a different inspection. PAT stays with the portable items on The Avenue or at the station. ### What is done with a failed kettle or lead? It is labelled fail and written on the register. We do not mend it during the PAT visit. A repair, if you want one, is quoted separately. ### Do you collect items from every room? We test what has been gathered in one place. Having the list and the items together at The Avenue or by Tadworth station is what lets the visit move. ### Which tests does each appliance get? The tests suited to that class, after the plug, the lead and the casing have been examined. The register names the result for Walton Street as well as The Avenue. ## Other services in Tadworth - [Electrician in Tadworth](https://www.tmbelectrics.co.uk/electrician-tadworth): Tadworth electrician for new circuits, outbuildings and domestic work, scoped around actual equipment and existing supply. - [PAT testing (all areas)](https://www.tmbelectrics.co.uk/services/pat-testing): PAT testing in Banstead and Surrey from £120 by TMB Electrics.
