What counts as a standard cable run?+
Roughly ten metres of cable from the board to the charge point, taken through a loft, a garage or along an inside wall, with no digging and no scaffold. Most Coulsdon semis with a front drive fall inside that. Crossing a driveway, going round the back of a long garden or getting through a solid stone wall is more work and is priced as it is found.
Does anyone need to be told about the installation?+

It is a different conversation from a house with its own drive. The supply comes from a shared cupboard, the parking is usually communal, and the freeholder or management company has to agree to the cable and the space. Where that agreement exists, it can be done. Where it does not, no electrician can fix that part for you.
Can you fit the charger I have already bought?+
Yes, provided it is a proper fixed charge point from a known maker rather than something ordered from an auction site.
