Commercial power & socket installation across Ewell
We serve Ewell from our base in Banstead.
What happens on the day
A commercial unit on the High Street or Church Street is hard against the pavement, so new sockets and power are planned from inside. The board that serves the unit is checked before extra points are added. West Ewell premises around Chessington Road that need more outlets take them as added circuits. The points named on the quote are fitted and tested.
- Work from insideThere is no front forecourt on Church Street to build from. The intake, the board and the new socket positions are all reached inside the premises.
- Add the outlets namedSockets for a counter, a desk or a machine go where you mark them. Chessington Road premises that need more outlets get those as added circuits, not a rewire of the whole unit.
- Test the new pointsEach new point is tested. A three phase supply or a new distribution board, if the present gear cannot feed the load, is described before that work starts.

Can you add sockets in a High Street unit without working on the pavement?
Yes. The front is pavement, so the intake and the new points are indoors. Nothing is built on the street.
Will the whole unit be rewired for two extra sockets?
No. Extra outlets around Chessington Road are added circuits. The rest of the wiring stays, and the unit is not rewired for two sockets.
What if the board cannot feed a new machine?
That limit is said before the points are added. A larger board or a new way is described on its own, and the machine is not connected to an undersized breaker.
Are data points included with the sockets?
No. An ethernet faceplate is a data visit. This figure is power and sockets, and data cabling is booked on its own.
Do you work around opening hours?
The visit is booked for a time the premises can be worked in. Tell us which rooms must stay in use, especially on Church Street.
