Not for one new point. The router stays where it is, and the point in the extension is cabled back through a void that already exists.
Can an Ashtead Park outbuilding have a data point on the old feed?
Only if that feed tests as reusable. A working lamp in the outbuilding is not enough. A failed test means a new feed, which is a different job.
Is a cottage on The Street chased for one faceplate?
No. The cable goes around the building to the router. The cottage fabric stays, and a shorter line through the wall is not cut for neatness.
Do you fit wifi equipment as well?
The visit is the cabled point back to the router you already have. New wireless kit is only fitted when it is named on the quote.
