Starlink installation in Coulsdon
A Starlink dish in Coulsdon is mounted only after the household has ordered the kit in its own name. The dish needs a clear view of the sky from this building.

What happens on the day
The kit has to arrive in the household's name before we mount anything. We put the dish on an outside wall, a chimney or a gable where the sky is clear of tall trees and nearby roofs. A valley terrace near both stations can have a tighter view than a newer house at Cane Hill Park, so the spot is chosen on that building, not from a standard height. The dish stays on this property. It is not fixed to a neighbour's wall, and a cable is not taken across a pavement as if that right existed.
- Wait for the household's kitWe do not bring a dish of our own. The parcel has to be here, ordered so the hardware stays in the household's name, before a bracket goes on the wall.
- Pick the sky on this buildingA chimney, a gable or an outside wall is used where trees and the next roof do not block the sky. A terrace near both stations is judged from its own roof, not from a house at Cane Hill Park.
- Stay off the neighbourThe bracket goes on this building. A neighbour's wall is not used, and the cable is not run across the pavement as though permission were already there.

Can you supply the dish?
No. The household orders it so the hardware and the service stay in their name. We mount it once the parcel is at the property.
Where does the dish go on a terrace near both stations?
On a wall, chimney or gable of that building, where the sky is actually clear. The tighter view on those terraces is judged there, not copied from a house at Cane Hill Park.
Will the cable cross the pavement?
Not by assumption. The dish and the cable stay on this property unless the right to cross has already been sorted. We do not treat the pavement as ours.
Can the dish go on next door?
No. The mount is this building. A neighbour's wall, roof or garden is not used for the bracket, and the dish stays on the property that ordered it.
Do you add a socket for the router?
Only when that socket was named in the booking. Otherwise the cable ends at the router position already chosen, and a new socket is a later job.
