What happens on the day
The visit is the building task on the list: filling a chase after cable has been buried, easing a door that sticks, or sealing around a new fan. Nothing on this list is a certificate, and we leave every circuit untouched. A small job in a Costain house does not become a rewire of the original wiring. Extra circuits on Woodland Way are not done under this list. An outbuilding is included only when the task is in that building.
- Stay inside the written taskThe note is closed before anyone arrives. A small repair on Furze Hill or by Kingswood station stays that task. Being in the house does not turn it into a building project.
- Work in the building namedMaking good in the house stays in the house. The garage and the annexe are left alone unless the task was written for that building. No electrical certificate is implied.
- Stop if the task is wiringA fault on original wiring stops the building task. That fault is written up as electrical work. Paint is not used to pass it off as a small repair.

Does this include an electrical certificate?
No. This list certifies nothing. Adding a circuit, writing a minor works form, or inspecting a rented home is a separate electrical booking.
Will you rewire a Costain house as part of this?
No. Those houses have additions on the original wiring, and a rewire is arranged separately. Filling a chase does not turn into that rewire.
Is the garage opened for a job in the house?
No. The task stays in the building that was named. A board in the garage is not a reason to extend the list.
Can the list include extra circuits on Woodland Way?
No. Newer houses that want extra circuits need an electrical job, after a test. This list does not add circuits.
What if the job uncovers a fault?
Building work stops there. Failed wiring is booked as electrical work. Paint is not used to hide it and call it a small repair.
