How Horley workplace sockets are charged
You pay for sockets in the one workplace that was booked, on a circuit able to carry the load listed. A house that was never booked as a workplace stays out.
From £1,000
Included
- New sockets, fused spurs and isolators for the equipment on site
- New circuits from the consumer unit when existing sockets cannot take the load
- Cable runs through the premises, clipped or in trunking as the building allows
- Isolation of the circuits being worked on, with other power left on where it can be
- Testing of the new work and the certificate that work requires
Ways to pay

- Pay by bank
- Bank transfer
- Equipment missing from the list is not connected.
- A rental report is not issued for a workplace fit.
- Older wall wiring off Massetts Road can stop the new faces.
Commercial power & socket installation across Horley
We serve Horley from our base in Banstead.
What happens on the day
Workplace sockets are fitted where the booking says, once the load is known. A railway era terrace near the station gets a commercial circuit only if that building was booked as the workplace. Family houses in Westvale Park and Langshott remain houses. Off Massetts Road new faces wait when the wall wiring behind a recent board cannot carry the load. Fitting workplace sockets does not produce a rented flat's certificate cycle.
- Fit the workplace namedSockets go in the premises that were booked. Next door is not pulled in because someone left a door open or the buildings share a wall.
- Write the load firstThe equipment that workplace will run is listed before faces go on. If the circuit cannot carry that load, the faces wait.
- Leave houses as housesA station terrace or a house on Horley Row is a workplace only when it was booked as one. Otherwise we do not create a commercial circuit there.

Book NowPhotos of our work
Is a station terrace a workplace by default?
No. Those railway era terraces are houses unless the booking says that building is the workplace. We do not add a commercial circuit for its own sake.
Are family houses in Westvale Park included?
Only when that house was booked as the workplace. Langshott and Westvale Park homes are not given workplace sockets as a matter of course.
What if the circuit cannot carry the load?
The faces wait. Off Massetts Road a recent board does not show that the older wall wiring can take the equipment.
Does one booking cover every premises?
No. The workplace named is the one fitted. The premises next door is its own booking, even when the buildings touch.
Is this a landlord certificate?
No. A privately rented home still needs its report on its own cycle. Workplace sockets do not produce that paper.
