Worcester Park garden lighting price
Lights in a Green Lane rear garden are an added circuit, not a rewire of the original layout. Cable already outside is tested, and a failed test means new cable after that result. The Hamptons are usually the smaller addition.

What happens on the day
Lights in the garden are an added circuit from a board that can take them. 1930s semis on Green Lane and Cheam Common Road, extended at the back, keep their original circuit layout. The garden is not used as a reason to replace it. Cable that already runs outside is tested before reuse. A working outside socket is not spare capacity. Newer homes at The Hamptons are quoted as the small addition they usually are.
- Test cable already outsideAny existing cable to the garden is tested at both ends before new lights are hung on it. A live socket on Cheam Common Road does not show that the cable can take more.
- Add a circuitGreen Lane gardens are fed as an extra circuit. The original layout in the house stays. A rear extension does not turn the lighting job into a rewire.
- Keep newer homes smallThe Hamptons, off Caldbeck Avenue, take garden lights as a small job on the modern board when a way is spare. Windsor Road and Malden Road are planned from the board at that house, not from a stock design.

Will garden lights rewire a house on Cheam Common Road?
No. The original circuit layout stays. The lights are an extra circuit. A rear extension does not change that into a whole house job.
Can the old outside cable be reused on Green Lane?
Only after a test at both ends. A socket that works tonight is not spare capacity for a row of new lights.
Are The Hamptons quoted as a large lighting scheme?
Not by default. Those newer homes are mostly small works. The job is the lights on the quote, from the modern board, when it has room.
What should be sent beforehand?
Photographs of both ends, the board, and the places you want light. The load matters. A sketch with no board photo is not enough for a Windsor Road quote.
Do you light a garden on Caldbeck Avenue differently?
The test is the same. The Hamptons houses there are newer, so the board is often modern, and the circuit is still confirmed before anything is fixed outside.
