Electrician day rate in Chipstead
A day in Chipstead is the list written down before anyone sets off. A stable feed, an inspection and a consumer unit change are not spare tasks added because time remains.

What happens on the day
The day is a written list: a point tested, a fitting changed, or a small task in a garage that already has a feed. Houses on How Lane are not given extra circuits because the afternoon is quiet. Replacing a feed to a stable, inspecting the whole installation, or changing a consumer unit is booked as that job. A cottage near the cricket green is not rewired under a day list. Hours still on the clock do not overrule a failed test.
- Close the list firstTasks are written before anyone sets off. A job noticed on site is added only when the tests and the time still allow it, and only by writing it on.
- Keep large jobs off the dayA new feed to a stable or garden room, a full inspection, and a consumer unit change are not folded into the afternoon. Each has its own booking.
- Stop a failed circuitA circuit that fails its test stays switched off and is written down. Anything else on the list carries on only while it remains safe.

Can the day include a new stable feed?
No. A feed to a garage, stable or garden room that can no longer carry its load is its own circuit. It is not a spare hour.
Will you change the consumer unit if there is time?
No. A board change is booked as a board change. Time left on a day in a How Lane house does not become that job.
Is the cottage rewired if the cable looks old?
No. Older cabling behind a newer unit may be noted. Replacing the cable that follows a High Road cottage is the rewire, not the day.
What if a test fails halfway through?
That circuit stays off. We write it down. Other tasks carry on only while they are still safe. A failed test is not talked past.
Does the day include the rented home report?
No. The inspection is booked by itself. Someone can mention that a report is due, and the day ends that subject there.
