Does a rented flat get its report with the fan?
No. Privately rented homes across RH6 still need their report on the certificate cycle. Fitting the fan does not produce that paper.
What if the circuit fails once the fan is running?
The fan comes off and the fault is recorded. We do not leave it running once that circuit has failed.
Will a new board off Massetts Road be fitted for the fan?
No. If the older wall wiring cannot carry the fan, that fact is recorded and the fan waits. A new board comes later, as its own booking.
Do you paint around the grille?
No. The grille is left as we fitted it. Whoever is decorating that room deals with the paint around it.
