Worcester Park immersion price
The repair is the element and the thermostat on a heater that is actually there. The Hamptons are not written up as if every house had an immersion. Near Worcester Park station the job stops at the heater, and it is not a board change.

What happens on the day
Worcester Park immersion work is the element and the thermostat on the heater that is there. A new cylinder is not presumed, and it is not part of this repair. Newer houses at The Hamptons are not written up as if they had an immersion. Older houses near Worcester Park station are repaired only when a heater is actually fitted. The circuit isolated is the one that feeds it, including where a 1930s semi on Green Lane still uses the original layout for that circuit.
- Repair the element and the statThe failed part is replaced on the heater in front of us. The cylinder stays. If it is already leaking, this repair stops and the leak is reported.
- Open the feeding circuitIsolation is the circuit that feeds the heater. Cheam Common Road houses may still use the original layout for that circuit. Other circuits stay on. A board change near the station is not started because an element failed.
- Do not assume a heaterThe Hamptons and a Central Road flat are visited for an immersion only when one is there. We do not open cupboards looking for a cylinder the job never included.

Do you replace the cylinder?
No. This repair is the element and the thermostat. A cylinder that leaks stops the electrical work, and the leak is reported instead of being wired around.
Does every house at The Hamptons have an immersion?
No. Those newer homes off Caldbeck Avenue are not assumed to have one. The visit happens when a heater is there.
Is the original layout on Green Lane changed for a new element?
No. The element circuit is isolated and the part is replaced. The rest of the original layout stays. A failed feed is a follow up, not a new element on a dead line.
Will a house near the station get a new board?
Not for an element. A board change there is its own conversation, separate from a rewire and separate from this repair.
What about a Central Road flat?
The heater in that flat is the one repaired, from that flat's circuit. The parade is not isolated, and a cylinder is not assumed above the shops.
