PAT testing in Worcester Park
TMB Electrics, based in Banstead, tests plug in appliances in Worcester Park and labels each one. In a Central Road flat that list is not the landlord's fixed wiring certificate.

Worcester Park PAT price
Central Road flats on a landlord cycle are charged by the plug in items brought out that day. The five year fixed wiring inspection is a different document. Houses at The Hamptons are counted the same way, item by item.
From £120
£120 for up to 20 appliances, then £1.50 per additional appliance.
Included when agreed
- Visual inspection of the plug, lead and casing
- Earth continuity, insulation and polarity tests as the class of appliance needs
- A pass or fail label on each item
- A register listing every appliance and its result
Ways to pay

- Pay by bank
- Bank transfer
- The five year inspection of a rented home is a different visit.
- Anything brought out after the list is closed is added to the count before a test starts.
- A failed kettle is labelled and left. Mending that appliance is not this visit.

What happens on the day
Plug in items at a Worcester Park address are tested, given a label, and written onto a list. Flats above and behind the Central Road parade sit on regular landlord certificate cycles, and those certificates are the fixed wiring, not this list. A pass label does not say the original circuits on Cheam Common Road are sound. Newer homes at The Hamptons are tested the same way: the items presented, and nothing hidden in the walls.
- Label the items presentedAppliances are tested one by one. The list names each item and the result. Items that were not in the room on the day, including in a Central Road flat, are not written up as if they had been seen.
- Leave the wiring certificate aloneThe landlord cycle for a Central Road flat is the fixed installation report. This visit does not replace it, and an expiry date on that report is not a PAT result.
- Unplug what failedA failed item gets a label and stays unplugged. Repairing it is not this test. The original circuit layout in a Green Lane semi is not judged by the appliance result.

Does this replace the landlord certificate for a Central Road flat?
No. Those flats are on a certificate cycle for the fixed wiring. PAT is the plug in items only. One document does not stand in for the other.
Are original circuits on Cheam Common Road part of the test?
No. A label on a kettle says nothing about the original layout in a 1930s semi. That layout needs its own inspection if that is what you want.
What happens to a failed heater?
It gets a label and stays unplugged. The list records the failure. The test does not put that heater back into use.
Do The Hamptons need a different appliance test?
No. Newer homes off Caldbeck Avenue are tested item by item in the same way. The modern board is not part of this visit.
Should the old report be sent for a rented flat?
Send the document if a fixed wiring inspection is the thing you want reviewed. The expiry date on its own is not enough, and it is not this appliance list.
